Goodbye Mr. Stress

Posted by: Angel   in Health and Fitness

One of the common problems we deal with everyday is STRESS. Its always creeping in our system like a virus that could affect us psychologically, physically and emotionally. Some of us get so stressed out over simple things. Traffic, bad internet connection, workplace, crowd, or even just waiting in line in the grocery store and so many factors that could trigger this. Doctors, researchers, counselors and other professionals never stop working on how to fight stress. Doctors prescribe medicines, counselors offer counseling and so on. Stress as how I see it would always be part of our everyday life. We can never run away from it because stress is everywhere. It would chase us no matter how fast we go. The question there is, why does stress sticks to us like a leech that sucks blood, then consumed every ounce of our strength? And then we are left loaded with different negative thoughts and drained of energy. I’m not a doctor, I’m not a researcher, and I’m not a counselor, I am just one human being concerned about some things around me. And this matter concerns me the most. I myself also meet MR. STRESS most of the time. I don’t like the feeling every time he pays a visit. It makes my day so clouded, so tangled up. Its kind of hard to do things right as our mind is the prime target.

I have my successful days of fighting Mr. Stress. That’s why I would like to share some tips on how to cast him away, even for a while. But I would be very glad if we can totally obliterate him so he would never exist in our system anymore. What a wonderful day it would be if there is NO MR. STRESS.

Here are 10 things we might need to know to get rid of him.

1. We ALWAYS have a choice of letting him come. Its just a matter of a YES or a NO. Self-talk is helpful.

2. As the saying goes, “WHAT ARE FRIENDS FOR”. Sharing your joys and tears to a TRUSTED FRIEND not just cultivate friendships, it also cultivates the soul.

3. Change your motto into “MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS”. We all have our own tasks to finish, we all have little problems to solve. Its going to be a lot easier for you if you’ll let others mind what’s theirs too.

4. Say a little prayer. Prayer is that powerful. Not only you’re cleansing the soul, you’re also renewing the heart. It is also the best way to get closer to God.

5. Know your best buddy. No other than “YOURSELF” Enjoy and love your own company.

6. Loneliness is a choice, as Happiness is a decision. Take time to decide.

7. The bible says “WATER IS A FOUNTAIN OF LIFE”. Stop for a minute and drink one glass of water make it as frequent as possible.

8. Sleep is a gift. A few receives.. then take a nap.

9. Keep a piggy bank. Money goes, money comes, but you can save a cent or a dime.

10. Health is Wealth. Don’t get stressed today. Leave it for tomorrow. Everyday tell yourself “I’ll get stressed tomorrow” Bye for now Mr. Stress. “

I hope you’ll find this a little helpful. It doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll have to do everything there. You can pick one or two that’s best for you. You have all the choices and you can also make your own choice. Have a stress-free day!! Mr. Stress wont come today.
